We are planning our first Disney vacation. We have a 6 yr old & a 4 yr. old. A friend of mine mentioned renting points to stay at one of the studio villas. We were thinking between Boardwalk, Beach Club & Baylake Towers. Not sure if its a good

    Hi Alyssa,

Staying at a Disney Vacation Club Villa is a great way to spend your first vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

Each of these properties are wonderfully situated for families. Their location allows guests to quickly walk to one (Baylake Towers) or two (Beach Club or Boardwalk) Disney parks in minutes. You can easily get to another one via the monorail. Both of these features are great for families with little ones in strollers because you do not have to transfer your sleeping children from their strollers after a long day at the parks.

Baylake Tower over looks the Magic Kingdom. This newest location has a small pool area with bocce ball and shuffle board. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom or hop the monorail to Epcot. The rooms are spacious and this resort is attached to the Contemporary.

The Boardwalk has a fun feel of the beach. With outdoor activities at night including street performers, this location has fun both day and night. The pool is tucked away and has a fun roller coaster twist.

The Beach Club sits across the lagoon from the Boardwalk. It shares its main pool, Stormalog Bay, with the Yacht Club. This pool is really a mini water park with a lazy river and "quicksand". You could spend a day here having fun.

I hope whatever resort you choose you have a magical vacation!
