Planning our first Disney vacation and trying to figure out the best use of ticket/park times, can we use our park tickets first thing in the morning on our first day or do we need to wait till check in?

Hi Holly! Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World! May it be the first of many! If your tickets were purchased separately (outside a package)and you have them in-hand or they are waiting for you at Will Call, you can go straight on to the theme park without checking in first.  If your tickets are part of a package, you must go to your Resort first, but I have good news. You can check-in ANYTIME that day, even if it is before check-in time. Even though your room will probably not be ready if you check-in before the set time, you can leave your bags with luggage services and go hit the parks! Disney has a wonderful service that will call or text you to let you know when your room is ready. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
