We are planning our first Disney vacation for our family of 5. We have a teenager and two young school age children. We are trying to decide between a cabin at Fort Wilderness, and a room at the Beach Club. Any suggestions?

    Hi Karen,

I would vote the Beach Club for your party. First, it has the coolest pool with quicksand. Trust me you will love the quicksand and so will your teenager. Second, because the Boardwalk area is on the other side of the lake, your teenager can easily walk over to this area for a little night time fun while the little ones settle in for the night.

Also, you will be able to walk or take a boat to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios which is great fun for everyone.

The cabins at Fort Wilderness are fun as well. You can rent a golf cart to get around and there are a lot of activities for you to do. There is even a small petting zoo on property. However, you will need to travel by bus to all of the parks and it more relaxing than the hustle of the Boardwalk resorts.

Either way, I think your family will have a magical time on vacation!
