Planning our first Disney vacation this fall and found out they are offering a free dining plan with certain hotels and the only hotel available for our dates is the All Star Sports. Is it really worth staying at a value hotel to get the free dining plan?

    Hello, Erin!

My husband and I recently visited Disney's All-Star Sports Resort for the first time. The on-site shopping, dining and swimming pools were perfect for our quick getaway, and we both thought that the outdoor spaces were colorful and beautiful. There are differences between the Value Resorts and other categories, but you will find that all of the Disney Resort hotels are clean and full of magical details that will delight the whole family.

If you plan to spend most of your time at the theme parks or at the swimming pools, the only thing that you would need to really consider is if your family can fit comfortably in two double beds (the bed size offered in the standard rooms at this Disney Resort hotel). The Value Resorts are all clean and fun, especially for children, and if you are able to add free dining or another special offer to your stay, you can really save a lot of money on your Walt Disney World vacation.

I hope that you and your family have a magical first visit to Walt Disney World, Erin! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. We would love to hEAR from you!
