    Hi, we are planning for our first Disney vacation on Dec 29,2012 to Jan 2, 2013 to celebrate DS 10th on Jan1st. With DS 8&3. We are Florida residents,however,it is on blocked out dates. Any suggestions on ticket/hotel packages for us to save? Thank you

    Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Mars! How exciting you are planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  According to the Special Offers official page, upcoming Walt DIsney World discounts begin on January 2, 2013. Follow the link I have provided to learn more about the Special Offers currently available at Walt Disney World I know you are celebrating your son's birthday during your vacation, but if you do have flexibility with your travel dates, it may be advantageous to back your vacation up by a few days in order to qualify for the promotion. We have celebrated my son's birthday a few days prior to his actual birthday on two vacations since we could not be in Walt Disney World on his special day. He was still able to receive the complimentary birthday celebration button at Guest Relations and loved receiving birthday wishes by cast members and other guests throughout the day. 
    You may also want to visit the unofficial website mousesavers.com which is a great online resource for viewing Walt Disney World discounts. I have also purchased slightly discounted tickets from the independent website undercovertourist.com. Be sure to allow ample delivery time if purchasing tickets from Undercover Tourist.
