Planning our very first disney vacation, would it be best to use a travel agent for the first time or attempt to schedule everything on line

Hi, Bonnie!  I admit, despite having been to Walt Disney World hundreds of times, there are times recently where I just turned everything over to a travel agency, and I let them handle all the fine details of the vacation.  For many people, a Walt Disney World vacation is something they've saved for and dreamed of, and since it doesn't cost a thing to use a travel agent, finding one who specializes in Walt Disney World vacations can help insure you don't end up missing out on something and make the vacation as stress free and magical as possible!

If you do not know a travel agent in your area, do an online search for an agent who makes Walt Disney World their primary business.  Some of these agents will even make advanced dining reservations for you, and notify you if a promotional package (like free dining) becomes available during your upcoming vacation.

This is not to say you can't do this online by yourself!  If you're pretty sure you know what type of accommodations you want and which tickets you'd like to purchase, you're more than half way there.  Then you always have us to help you get the rest of the way to a pixie dust sprinkled vacation!
