Hi, planning our first Disney trip in March for my daughter's 5th birthday. We have plans for her birthday on the 16th but wonder what plans we should make for St. Patrick's Day on the 17th. My youngest is only 2. Thank you!!

Hi Jennifer! I hEAR you're planning your first trip to, "The Most Magical Place on Earth" soon!

Your daughter is certainly going to have a birthday to remember for many years to come! When we celebrated my son's 10th birthday at Walt Disney World, the Cast Members at the resort gave him a "Happy Birthday" button and wrote his name on it in permanent marker. Everywhere we went that day, Cast Members wished him Happy Birthday by name, and it made him feel like a VIP. They also have "First Time Visitor" buttons that you can get at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel, or you can stop by Guest Services in the parks.

Springtime means flowers, and you'll certainly be able to find them at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival which runs from March 6 to June 3, 2019.  Coming from the cold weather in Ohio, I'm sure you'll be excited to see some greenery in the form of Disney character topiary displays.  While you're in Epcot, head to the United Kingdom Pavillion.  I can personally attest that the Fish and Chips at The Yorkshire County Fish Shop are pretty tasty, and if you're in the mood for a pint, the UK Beer Cart is nearby.

While we're on the topic of fish and chips, let's talk about Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Disney Springs. If you're looking for a fun St. Patty's Day celebration, this is the place.  They have a great weekend brunch from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and going earlier in the day might be better for your young lads or lassies. This place is popular in March, so I'd suggest making an Advanced Dining Reservation soon.

Hope you have a magical vacation, and tell Mickey I said hello!
