Ahoy, Dawn!
How exciting that you are planning for your first Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream! I am so excited for the awesome new additions that are coming to the Dream this fall!
Your youngest son, at age 11, can go to the Oceaneer Club
and Oceaneer Lab, which has different themed areas to explore and play in, including the Star Wars area. This area is appropriate for ages 3-12.
Both of your son's could choose to head to
Edge, a super-cool tween hang out. There is less structure here than the Club and Lab, and the kids plan their own activities with the counselors. This club is designed for kids aged 11-14. They have an illuminated dance floor and an entire wall of televisions for gaming.
Your oldest son may choose to head to the teen club,
Vibe, for his cruise experience. This is a club just for teens aged 14-17, and even parents are not allowed, except at open house times. The kids in Vibe plan activities with the counselors there. They even have their own pool area to "chill" in!
Even if your son's choose to participate in different clubs, they can always visit the Star Wars area together during Open House times, which will be listed in the Daily Navigator, as well as on the Navigator App. Whichever club each of your sons choose, try to encourage them to attend the very first night's activities, as that is when the counselors will specialize in "get to know you" games and activities. This makes a HUGE difference in the long run!
I hope your family has an amazing time on the Dream! Please let us know if you have more questions as your trip gets closer!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
