Ahoy, Amy!
How exciting that you are planning your first adventure aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship! My first cruise was also aboard the beautiful Disney Magic and we had such a good time that we have now sailed 13 times with Captain Mickey and his crew!
Georgetown, Grand Cayman is my favorite port on a Western Caribbean sailing. Of the five times I have visited there, I have always participated in a Port Adventure that goes to the Stingray Sandbar. Getting into the ocean with these gentle giants is such a cool experience! If this sounds like a bunch of fun, you might consider trying the "
Stingray City Reef Sail & Snorkel". After reading the description, I think I might be adding it to my bucket list for the next time we sail to Grand Cayman!
There appear to be quite a few snorkeling Port Adventures available in Grand Cayman. Do you want to see a shipwreck? Try "
Shipwreck and Reef Snorkeling". This includes snorkeling at two different locations. If only you could try them all!
As far as onboard activities...you will have to wait patiently until you actually board the Disney Magic. Each day, a Daily Navigator will "magically" appear in your stateroom. All of the activities for the day will be listed. You also can download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, and you should be able to see the entire week once you are connected.
I hope this has helped with the planning for your very first Disney Cruise Line sailing! Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions that come afloat before you set sail!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
