    Planning our first cruise on the Fantasy! We have reservations for Jan. 2013. Will it be too cold to swim in the ocean then? Would the end of Nov. have warmer waters? We've been waiting for years to do a Disney cruise and don't want to miss out on anything

    It sounds like you are planning a magical voyage on Disney's newest member of the fleet!  Since you have been waiting for years, I know you want everything to be just perfect!  



    January water temperatures can be cool especially on Castaway Cay.  Many Guests will find the temperatures tolerable and will take the plunge so it is really up to you.  With outside average temps around 81 degrees, you can probably expect the water to be somewhere in the 70s.  November will be slightly warmer with water temperatures around 85.  This is just a guideline, and your cruise could fall in the middle of a warming or cooling trend.  What I can tell you is no matter what the weather is like, Disney Cruise Line will make sure you have the most tremendous vacation!  You will truly be amazed at all Disney has to offer at sea and all the waiting you have done will be well worth it!
