Ahoy, Loretta!
A magical vacation aboard the
Disney Dream is a fabulous way to celebrate your big day and the start of a new decade. I've celebrated two birthdays at sea with Disney Cruise Line, and they were definitely two of my favorites! I wore the "Happy Birthday" button that I picked up at Guest Services proudly and enjoyed a birthday meal at
Palo both times! I hope you'll plan some extra pixie dust for your "Dream"y 5-0 celebration!
Loretta, you've asked a great question about using your Enhanced Driver License as your proof of citizenship to board the Disney Dream. This is an acceptable form of identification since it proves both who you are and your U.S. Citizenship just like the combination of a state-issued birth certificate and government-issued photo ID. The only issue with using your Enhanced Driver's License is if any unexpected emergency were to happen and you needed to travel back from the Bahamas by air. This license is only good for land and sea travel at this time. My recommendation is to read over the
Passports and Documentation Information so you can decide what's best for your trip next year.
I'm so glad you sailed by, Loretta! I love planning my Disney Cruise vacations almost as much as the cruise itself, so I hope you'll enjoy every magical minute! Please cruise back over if we can assist you further with your plans.
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
