Hi Randi,
Thank you for
sailing by with a great question!
Let me first say that I was super sad to read that you are planning a farewell to Disney trip (ok, maybe my heart stopped momentarily)! I trust that you are not saying farewell for good. In looking at your trip dates, I am hopeful that our theme park and cruise experiences will be back to some sense of normalcy by 2024. For now, behind the scenes tours are quite limited and we are not yet sure what experiences would be available that far in advance, although you are certainly a leader with early planning!
At the Walt Disney World Resort, check the
Enchanting Extras Collection and the
Enchanting Extras Know Before You Go Updates to keep an eye on available experiences. Currently, Guests can book
Private VIP Tours, so that may be an option for your visit. Otherwise, the backstage tours that were previously offered are currently paused. A few of our favorites were the
Caring for Giants and
Up Close with Rhinos experiences. Disney's
Backstage Magic tour
was also AMAZING.
Our Disney cruisers have raved about the
Palo Be Our Chef experience on the
Disney Fantasy and the Art of the Theme Show Tour. See my fellow
panelist Sherry's awesome answer about that one. Since you have plenty of time before your trip, I would advise that you continue to check the updates for both
Walt Disney World Resort and
Disney Cruise Line.
I understand the need to know! I love to plan in advance because it helps me with budgeting. So, do keep an eye out for updates. At the very least, you may be able to get a sense of the pricing for certain experiences as they are made available. For now, I hope you have taken a look at the
Disney Wish and considered it for your cruise. Just double-check the itinerary. The ship is simply GORGEOUS.
Randi, I am sending you a little extra magic trusting that Moana's wayfinding spirit will guide your planning journey. My Disney Wish for you - magic forever!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
