Hi Dana!
We at the Disney Parks Moms Panel are delighted that you stopped by with your question! What FANTASTic news that you will be sailing on the
Disney Fantasy! The newest ship in the Disney fleet is a real gem. Get ready to be wowed with the abundance of
onboard activities and
entertainment!
One of my favorite ways to learn more about Disney Cruise Line and the particular Disney ship we are sailing is the Art of the Theme Show Tour. For adults 18 and up, this wonderful tour shares tidbits about the design and artistic details of the ship. Meanwhile, guests of all ages can participate in the Walking Ship Tour. This one is especially useful when we are new to a Disney ship; it lets us set our bearings and quickly acclimate to where everything is! These informative tours are available on all four Disney ships and do not require a reservation. To find times and locations, consult the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or your Personal Navigator, the detailed newsletter delivered to your stateroom each day.
Another must do activity is the Anyone Can Cook class. On the Disney Wonder, one of the chefs led us in a cooking demonstration and we got to sample the lobster ravioli...it was DIVINE! Or take cooking to the next level by reserving the
Palo Be Our Chef experience, exclusive to the Disney Fantasy. No only will you rub elbows with the Palo chefs in their kitchen, but you'll receive your own Palo check jacket! Check availability by
contacting Disney Cruise Line or you can make onboard reservations at Guest Services.
Besides the informative tours and classes on cooking, there are family game shows and karaoke, Disney animation classes, trivia, crafts like origami and towel folding,
first-run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, and the ever-popular Bingo. The best part? No pre-registration is necessary for any of these!
Dana, feel free to send more questions before you set sail on your upcoming cruise. Have a wonderful sailing!
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
