Planning to see Fantasmic on 1/15. Since it is now shown only a few days a week, what kind of crowds should we expect?

This is difficult to accurately predict since the reduced schedule of Fantasmic shows is something new. However, if I had to guess, I'd say that you should expect some pretty substantial crowds. Prior to the schedule change when the show ran one or two times a day, Fantasmic always had long lines and often filled up the stadium. So with only two shows per week, I imagine that the crowds will be even more insane. If you want to see Fantasmic, I suggest that you get there EARLY. I would bring some counter service food into the line with you and make that dinner while you wait. Or, as an alternative, you could try to book at Fantasmic dinner package (call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE). This would allow you to eat a nice table service and have seating in a reserved area of the theater.
