    Planning to see Fantasmic on Apr 23. Have ADR for Sci-Fi @ 6p. Will that give us enough time for good seat? I am a little worried as I have been reading that shows are filling up quickly (sometimes 90min ahead). Should I switch Sci-Fi to lunch instead?

    Hi Pat,

    Fantasmic is one of our family's favorite shows, a must see for sure!  I usually plan on seventy five to ninety minutes for our table service reservations. The only Fantasmic show on April 23rd is at 8:30pm. Figuring in ninety minutes for dinner, and that you will be seated no later than 6pm, you should be finished and headed to Fantasmic by 7:30. This would give you an hour to get to the theater, inside and to a seat. The majority of the spring break crowds should be gone by April 23rd however Fantasmic is now offered only on select nights so the crowds have increased because of its limited performances. Our experiences would lead me to believe you should be able to get a seat in the general audience as long as dinner does not run late, however you may not be able to sit in the front sections.

    You could change your Sci-Fi reservation to lunch or an earlier dinner time, however another suggestuion would be to check the availability of a Fantasmic dining package. This package offers dinner at Hollywood and Vine, Brown Derby or Mama Melrose for a set price per person. After dinner you will receive a ticket for entry into a reserved section of seats for Fantasmic. This way you will be able to enter thru a seperate entrance into a section of seats that are being held for dinner package partcipants. Reservations for this package can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463. We love this package and it is the only way we see Fantasmic now.
