I am planning my familys first trip in May 2019. I know about online check in but I was wondering what about check out. I dont want to make my family pack and leave half a day in on our last day? Can you leave, check in at another hotel and come back?

    Hi Carri,

Ooh...I'm so excited to hear that you're planning your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You guys are going to have an absolute BLAST together at the most magical place on earth and will surely make memories to last a lifetime!

I'm happy to let you know that at Disney Resort hotels, you're considered a Guest of your Resort hotel for the entire day of both your check-in and your check-out! While you'll need to remove all of your things from your room by the scheduled check-out time, you may feel free to leave all of your bags with Bell Services, drop them in your vehicle, or take them on to your next stop before you and your family return to enjoy all of the amenities and recreational offerings for the day. You'll find facilities available where you'll be able to change clothes if you'd like to enjoy one last swim at the Resort hotel's pool, or feel free to peruse the recreation calendar to see what kind of fun events are offered for the day. I'd definitely encourage you to enjoy all of the magic and fun of a Disney Resort hotel stay while you can, as there are so many wonderful things to see and do! My family just returned from our latest Disney vacation and we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon we spent hanging around Disney's Old Key West Resort, playing some beach volleyball and relaxing in the peaceful hammocks.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carri, and please stop by and see us again with any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical vacation!
