    I am planning my family's Disney vacation for the week of August 18th. Was wondering went the dates for MNSSHP will be announced do I will know if we can do the party while we are there. Thank you

    Welcome back to planDisney, Stacey! I'm so happy to know you have a plan to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this Summer! Thanks for sending us your question.

    I'm happy to report that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom Park will be in full swing during the dates of your stay. It actually starts up on Aug. 9!  If you currently have a stay at a Disney Resort Collection hotel booked for your visit, you can purchase your tickets for the special event as early as May 8. All other guests may purchase their tickets beginning on May 15.

    This year, Mickey and Minnie will have brand new costumes and even more of our favorite villains will be joining the celebrations! Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is also scheduled a full hour earlier, at 8:15 p.m.
