I am planning my family's Disney stay. My child is 2 but will turn 3 after we check into our Disney Resort. Will I have to purchase tickets to the park for days that he is 3, or is he considered 2 for the length of the stay?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrew! You are going to have so much fun during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family next month! Thanks for sending us your planning question.

Mouseketeers who are under the age of three upon arrival to the Resort are Mickey’s special guests, even if they celebrate their birthday during your family's vacation. This means they will not need a valid theme park ticket to enjoy the theme parks with family and friends. They will be good to go for the length of your stay!

During your adventures at the parks, keep an eye out for Baby Care Centers. They are a great place to change and feed your Mouseketeer. They’re also stocked with lots of baby and toddler essentials and are clean and quiet.

For a look at what your little one can experience with the whole family, I recommend searching for attractions for guests of “all ages” and “any height” before your visit. This way you will know which attractions the whole family can enjoy.

Andrew, I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with your plans!
