I am planning my family vacations for Oct 10 to 25 with my two daughters, 7 and 1 years old. Was wondering what is best for kids,Caribbean beach or Port Orleans? Also would like to know if it is posible to have a room close to Food center? Thanks.

    HI!

Between the resorts you've listed, I have to recommend Port Orleans French Quarter as my favorite. We really prefer the smaller size of this resort over the spread out feeling of the others.

Most rooms in this resort are just a short walk to the restaurant, but for even closer access I would recommend requesting a room in buildings 4 or 5. To add a room request, call Disney at 407-939-7675 or contact your travel agent. Room requests are never guaranteed, but Disney will do their best to accommodate you!

A couple of other great bonuses for Port Orleans French Quarter are the boat transportation over to Downtown Disney (great for meals, shopping, or even a trip to DisneyQuest) and the ability to use the pool and amenities at Port Orleans Riverside. Having this option might be extra fun - if you're planning a day or two of downtime at your resort.

Plus, don't forget to sample some of the beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter - YUM!

    Have a great trip!
