Hi! Planning a family vacation during the week of Oct 12th-18th. I've never been to WDW during that month. Can you tell me how busy the parks usually are and what kind of weather we can expect during that week? Thank you!

Hi Dana! Thanks for visiting the DIsney Parks Moms Panel with your great question!  My family has visited Walt Disney World this same week the last few years. Although the weather has varied from year to year, the crowd levels have been similar and quite manageable during my trips in October. The independent website features a Historic Attendance Levels Chart and categorizes all of October as "lowest attendance" with the exception of Columbus Day Weekend as "moderate attendance." Although the weather can be quite challenging to predict with 100% certainty, the average high temperature for Orlando in October is traditionally in the low to mid 80s with the average low temperature in the mid 60s. I hope this information helps! Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Dana!
    Happy Planning,
