I am planning a family vacation to Disney world. It is a group event. To reduce the stresses of planning, I was wondering if there is a place where I can post all the information about the trip instead of contacting each person.

    Hi Teisha,

Like you, I am the master planner for all of my family trips.  With relatives scattered across the country, it was difficult to keep everyone informed.  I solved that issue by creating a Facebook event page. I invited the group to the event and posted all of the trip information on that page.  Any time you need to add or update information, simply post it there.   You can also set up a poll if you want to ask your group to select from different activities, and include web links if you'd like to direct them to a certain Walt Disney World Resort page so that they can view the information in further detail.

Here are some brief instructions for the Facebook event page:

    To create an event:
.Click Events in the left menu of your homepage.
.Click Create in the top right.
.Fill in the event name, details, location and time, and choose your privacy settings. Keep in mind that  you must include an event name and time.
.Click Invite Friends to add friends to the guest list. ...
    .Click Create

I hope this information takes some of the stress away from planning your group trip.  It really is very rewarding when it all comes together and you know that everyone had a great time!

Happy planning and visit us again if you need assistance with creating your magical trip!

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
