    Dear Linda,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I would be happy to assist you with your question about planning for your very lucky grandchildren!

The terrific news is that children ages 2 and younger do not need park tickets to enter the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks! They also do not need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan and may eat off of an adult's plate at any buffet, dinner show, or other "all you care to eat" meal. If your 2 year-old grandchild is a big eater and you plan to order him or her their own meal at a Table-Service or a Quick-Service restaurant, you can pay out of pocket for that at the time of ordering.

If you do plan to make reservations for any Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, you should include the 2 year-old in the reservation even though they do not have to pay. That helps the staff plan for seating that adheres to the fire code and ensures enough space for all guests!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
