Walt Disney World, partly because both my wife and daughter celebrate birthdays in October and November. We’ve done several trips with just our core family and with extended family, so you’ve come to the right place!
Kathleen, you’re in luck! I see several
Disney Vacation Club 2-bedroom villas that sleep 9 available for booking for at least 4 nights for your anticipated check-in date. Specifically, there’s availability at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa,
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, and
Disney’s Old Key West Resort. You’ll want to move fast if you plan to use your Vacation Points to book your stay as availability can change at any moment! As a reminder, 2-bedroom villas generally have 1 king-size bed in the primary bedroom, two queen-size beds in the second bedroom, and 1 queen-size pull down bed and 1 twin-size pull down bed or sleeper chair. You’ll also find a full kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer!
As for tickets, here’s some options for you, Kathleen! Eligible US Military Members and their families can take advantage of
different ticket deals, including 4-, 5-, and 6-day tickets as well as a special Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket that provides unlimited theme park access through December 18, 2026 (excluding any blackout dates). You'll want to contact your local military base ticket office for more details. DVC Members enrolled in
Membership Magic Beyond can purchase specially priced
5-day weekday theme park tickets that come with access to water parks and various sports activities. I purchased these for my daughters during our spring break trip earlier this year and we saved several hundred dollars over regular theme park tickets!
