I am planning a family trip to Disney for the 2nd week in November. My family loves to swim. What resort has the best pools for young children? Do any resorts have indoor pools for bad weather? Thank you!

Hi There!   Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a vacation planning question.  I can totally relate to wanting to know about the amazing pools at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  I truly think my children would book a certain Resort based only on the type of pool they have.    have some great news for you, so many pools will help you have a splashtastic time with your children.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE pool at Walt Disney World is Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.  It offers 3 acres of water adventure.   The pool has a sand bottom and also includes a 230 foot long water slide as well as lazy river.   I have a hard time getting my children to leave to go to the Theme Parks.

Another favorite is the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  Big Blue Pool is the single largest hotel pool at Walt Disney World.   This pool even has underwater speakers that play your favorite Disney tunes.  It's so fun to dive under the water and listen in.  There is also a Schoolyard Sprayground for younger mouseketeers with pop up jets and statues of fun Disney characters that spray water.   My kids love it and I know yours will too.

There are no indoor pools at Walt Disney World, but all pools are heated year round.   My kids have even swam on Christmas Day.  You never know how the weather may be, but the pools will always be heated for you.

    Enjoy your vacation planning.
