Planning a family trip to Disney in 2019. I understand that there are some weeks in the fall that Disney includes the dinner plan for free in a package visit. If this is correct, when are those weeks normally?

    Hey there, Nancy!

The Disney Dining Plans are really popular add on options when you book a Magic Your Way vacation package. I think the question on the minds of many guests is if the free dining promotion will be repeated, and I will sure keep my fingers crossed for you.

I can tell you that in 2017, there was a free dining promotion available for select dates from late August through September; before and after Thanksgiving in November, and again in December for two weeks. The dates last year were announced in early spring.

The packages for free dining include your theme park passes and a non-discounted resort room. The type of free dining plan is determined by the resort accommodations you choose.

No matter what, you will want to book your Disney dining reservations before you go. You can start planning your dining experiences 180 days before you arrive. With so many character meals and unique dining experiences to choose from, I always plan way ahead!

Thank you so much for your question. I'm going to hope that your vacation plans get that little extra sprinkle of pixie dust and a free dining offer comes out!
