I am planning a family trip for 5 adults/ 4 y/o grandson for this fall. What resorts would be good for him to keep him entertained while not visiting a Theme park? I want to keep costs down and not break the bank.

Hello there, Deborah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Walt Disney World Resort has a variety if Resort hotels that can fit almost any budget and family size! The three different categories, Deluxe, Moderate, and Value, offer the same Disney magic at different price points. If you and your family are interested in a lower cost option, I would recommend looking into the Value category. Even though these Disney Resort hotels cost less, they are just as magical and offer the exact same standard of Disney service!

For a party of five or more, I would also recommend looking into family suite rooms! These are available at both Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Disney’s Art of Animation would also be my top recommendation for amenities outside of the theme parks! This resort features amazing courtyards themed after Cars, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King. You and your family will feel as though you’ve been transported right into a Disney film when staying here! In addition, you will also find pools, a jogging trail, an arcade, and a playground among the recreational amenities available at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! It honestly may be a bit tough to decide which amenities you and your family would like to indulge in during your stay!

Good luck planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
