We are planning on going with family to Disney World. Part of the family wants to camp at Fort Wilderness. The other family does not. How can we plan dinning with family that does not stay at the same place?

Welcome to planDisney, Brittany! Thanks for stopping by with a vacation question about one of my favorite topics: DINING in Walt Disney World! I would love to help you with your question about making dining reservations for your family. With so many restaurants in the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs, and Disney's BoardWalk; there is something delicious for everyone.

Are you feeling adventurous? Try some of the tropical cuisines from Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Park. Looking for the best pizza in all of Walt Disney World? You will want to check out Via Napoli in EPCOT to see how their slices stack up. Maybe an all-you-care-to-enjoy skillet piled high from Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is what your family needs after long days spent in the theme parks. Be sure to check out the Dining: Know Before You Go page for any updates to the dining experiences or restaurants in Walt Disney World.

To make dining reservations for your entire family, you will want to ensure that you are all connected on your My Disney Experience Friends & Family list. Connecting on My Disney Experience will allow you to make and share plans with all of the members of your group, even if you are staying in different resorts. You can then make dining reservations for participating restaurants as far as 60 days in advance, selecting the Guests who will be joining you from your Friends & Family list. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy. I recommend putting some lemon squeezy on the Calamari Fritta from Via Napoli; YUM!

Please stop back by planDisney any time we can help answer your vacation questions or if you want some more food recommendations. We are always here and happy to help!
