Hi Shawn! It's so great to have you here on planDisney. Welcome! I'm super excited to hear about your upcoming July trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. I just know you and your family will have a great time!
I completely understand how significant this matter is to you. Currently, only
service animals are permitted at the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. According to Walt Disney World Resort, a service animal is a dog or miniature horse trained to assist an individual with a disability by performing work or tasks. I know that emotional support animals are incredibly valuable to their owners, but unfortunately, they do not meet this definition and are not allowed to enter, as confirmed by Disability Services.
I understand that my response might not have been the answer you were hoping for. However, I strongly advise you to contact Disability Services if you want to discuss your specific case. They have
provided both an email and phone number that you can use to provide more details about your pet and get a definite answer.
In the meantime, I think it would be helpful for you to take a look at the current
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules before planning your family's visit. It's a super easy resource to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Shawn, I completely understand how upsetting it can be to face obstacles during your trip planning. However, I am confident that you will resolve your case and that your entire family will soon experience the magic of The Most Magical Place on Earth. Please know that I am here for you, and if you have any further concerns or questions, please
do not hesitate to reach out. It would be my genuine pleasure to help you in any way I can.
Cheers
Nilson
