Planning our families Dec 2014 visit back to the world, I would like to know if we will need a park admission ticket plus our ticket to MVMCP or is our ticket to MVMCP all we need for that particular day?

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my absolutely favorite events at Walt Disney World. There's nothing like seeing Cinderella's Castle draped in 200,000 Christmas lights, snow falling on Main Street and snicker doodle cookie vendors all over the park.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a specially ticketed event. What that means for you is there is no need for park passes to attend the party. The ticket allows you admission to the Magic Kingdom beginning at the posted start time of the event.

If you are planning visiting the Magic Kingdom on the same day prior to party, you will need to purchase a regular park pass.

I hope this information helps you plan the most magical vacation ever.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
