Heigh-Ho Meaghan,
Welcome back to planDisney, we are so happy to see returning Guests continuing to use us for their
Walt Disney World vacation planning questions.
As you know, 2021 has welcomed the return of the
Park Hopper option with some modifications. Guests must make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park and MUST visit the park. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., Guests can then choose a second park to visit. At this moment a Disney Park Pass reservation is NOT needed for the second park but this is subject to change. Entrance into the second park is also dependant upon the park’s capacity and at the discretion of Walt Disney World’s continued effort to maintain Guest’s health and safety, during this unprecedented time. In the event, a park is at capacity and the Park Hopper option is no longer available Guests will be notified via push notification through the
My Disney Experience app.
It is recommended, Guests wishing to make a table-service dining reservation do so where they have their Disney Pass Park reservation. A dining reservation, at your second park, does not guarantee you entrance. You can always take the chance but keep in mind most table-service dining reservations should be canceled 24 hours prior or a cancellation fee could be charged. Many of the Walt Disney World restaurants are offering a walk-up list. Guests can utilize their handy dandy My Disney Experience app and join the
walk-up list or head to the restaurant of choice and ask to be added. Or better yet double-check the table service dining reservation as you enter the second park and see if there is availability. Walt Disney World is excited to begin offering back some much needed Disney Magic but is still staying vigilant during these times and implementing what is best for all.
If I can be of any further assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
Amy M.
