Hello, We’re planning on going end of October. I noticed the oogie boogie event is taking place. Does this mean Disneyland park will close early and we will need to end our day earlier? I just where’s to confirm before purchasing as I would love to catch

As Oogie Boogie would say, "Well, well, well, what have we here?" Hello and welcome to planDisney, Rinces!

I'm so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort right before Halloween! It's my favorite time of year to visit because I just love the spooky decorations and delicious treats that are created just for this season. There will be pumpkins everywhere you look on Main Street, U.S.A., including a cute little Elvis pumpkin if you look hard enough!

Oogie Boogie Bash is one of the most popular after hours events held at Disney California Adventure and it sells out every year for good reason. All nights for this year are sold out, but if you ever get the chance to attend in the future, I would highly recommend doing so. For your visit this year, on the evening that Oogie Boogie Bash is happening, only Disney California Adventure will close early at 6 p.m. to the general public. That means that Disneyland Park will remain open until its normal closing time! That's great news and you can continue all the Halloween fun with no need to feel like you have to leave early!

When the dates of your visit get closer, be sure to check the Daily Schedule so you can be aware of any entertainment you'd be interested in catching. I'd especially encourage you to catch Disneyland Park's nighttime spectacular Halloween Screams! Before you go, plan out your gastronomic adventures with the Halloween Foodie Guide too. Our family loves to plan our visit around our stomachs, so go ahead and treat that sweet tooth!

Rinces, I hope that was helpful for you in planning your visit. Believe me, Disneyland Park gets into the Halloween spirit and you'll have a magically spooky time with Halloween right around the corner. If you need anything else from us, feel free to write again. You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
