We are planning on eating at Tappan Edo. Is there anything to eat for someone who is a picky eater and will not eat the stir fry and dishes prepared at the table?

Hi Angie! So someone in your family is a member of the Picky Eater Club too? My son has a very limited diet, but we've found that most restaurants at Walt Disney World are very accommodating. He's been able to order his favorite meal -- a grilled cheese sandwich -- at many Disney restaurants even when it doesn't appear on the menu there. 'Ohana brings him a platter of grilled cheese and french fries, and the Yak & Yeti made him one on a hamburger bun. We've only encountered a few restaurants where his off-menu requests couldn't be met, and I'm sorry to say that Teppan Edo is one of those restaurants. The kids' menu there consists of smaller portions of the adult stir fry entrees, and there weren't any other choices. They will be happy to leave out certain ingredients (my daughter asks them to hold the vegetables and just give her the chicken), but they don't seem to have the standard foods found on most kids' menus. When my family dines at Teppan Edo, my son just watches the hibachi chef's show but doesn't order any food, and then after we leave, we buy him a slice of pizza or another of his favorite items at a Quick-Service restaurant.
