We are planning to eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort but are staying at one of the other resorts at WDW. Can we take a bus to Contemporary from our resort and then take a bus to a park from there?

    Hi Christopher,

Welcome back to the Moms Panel where we love answering guest questions!  Chef Mickey's is a wonderful place to eat, meet and greet your favorite Disney characters.  If you are staying at another Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then either take the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort or follow the walkway for about a five minute walk to the hotel.  Once you've had your fill of Mickey waffles, you can get back to the Magic Kingdom the same way you came.  If you're headed to another theme park, bus service is available right outside the hotel to whisk you away to your next adventure.  You will want to allow about one hour of travel time when moving about the Walt Disney World Resort.

Get ready, get set and go have a magical vacation!

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
