We are planning an Eastern Carribean Cruise. Whenever we go to Castaway Cay, is it possible to rent a locker to put our camera and other things we don't want to get wet or don't want to leave unattended while we go swimming?

Welcome aboard, Linda! The Eastern Caribbean offers some amazing ports of call for guests sailing with Disney Cruise Line! You must be so excited to go explore! But, my favorite port of call is definitely Disney's private island, Castaway Cay!

There are not lockers available on Castaway Cay. Guests usually just bring their items in a beach bag and leave them on their beach chairs. If you're worried about items being taken, try to keep those with you as you explore the island or covered up with a towel in the bag. I wouldn't recommend bringing anything to the beach that you won't need for the day. It's easier just to leave most of that stuff back in your stateroom. If you're swimming off the beach, you'll be just a few steps away from your beach chair.

We've never had a problem with our belongings on Disney's Castaway Cay, but it's always good to be cautious. In our many visits to Disney's private island, we've always felt comfortable with the security of our belongings when we've left them to go into the water for a bit, but of course, we didn't leave a camera sitting out in plain sight for hours at a time. Just take care to protect your items by keeping them out of view and most likely you'll be all set!

Now, on Port Adventures in other ports of call, many will offer lockers for your belongings or a secured space to store your bags while you participate in the activity.

I hope that helps as you plan for your magical cruise, Linda! Stop back again if you have other planning questions before you set sail!
