Lindsay,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
There are so many amazing options, all right at your doorstep after a day in a water park. Let me give you some choices that would make my day complete.
After the TyphoonIf you have completed a day of slides, swimming, and tube rides at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, your closest choice would not be a resort hotel, but the myriad of dining and beverage venues at
Disney Springs. It is literally across the street from Typhoon Lagoon and has more choices than a resort hotel might have. My top recommendation would be
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar for drinks as well as some great sharable appetizers. I also feel like the atmosphere is more suited to a relaxed time after the water park. I thought you might like the name too, even if the spelling is not exactly the same! Two other good choices that are more traditional restaurant settings would be
The Edison and
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant.
Coming in from the ColdIf
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park was your daytime destination, I would send you over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, for drinks at Victoria Falls and dinner at either Sanaa or Jiko. An even better choice would be to try some sangria and beautiful waterfront views at
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago.
BOTTOM LINERegardless of which water park is your home for the day, all these venues are quick rides away. If it were me, the
Three Bridges Bar and Grill has the perfect relaxed ambiance I want after a busy day in a water park. The range of sharable cuisine and adult beverages marry well with the need for a relaxed meal that is neither white tablecloth nor fast food. The venue is casually elegant, with beautiful views.
