We are planning our DV for June '09. I would love to take my DS 6yrs old and DD 2 yrs old to Chef Mickey's. Can anyone make reservations to eat there, or do you have to stay at that resort? Thanks!

Absolutely!  You can definitely make a reservation for Chef Mickey's, no matter which resort you are staying in.  It is open to off-property guests as well.  We eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's on every trip and the Contemporary is not our resort of choice either.  Just be sure to allow adequate travel time to get from your resort to the Contemporary and check in for your meal.  You should plan on arriving about 15 minutes before your reservation time, to allow the cast members to stay on schedule and to give yourself enough time for the pre-meal picture taking that is offered there.

    Have a great vacation!
