Hi Tiffany,
I had
Disney Fine Art Portraits taken of my family in 2013. It was a fantastic experience! The photographer and his assistant were fun and professional and the photos are a beautiful family heirloom.
There are two version of the Fine Art Portraits: mini sessions and enhanced sessions. The mini sessions last about 20 minutes. If you choose to have mini portrait session photos unretouched, then you'll get them on a flash drive almost immediately after your session.
My family chose the enhanced portrait session, which took about an hour. We ended up with more than 80 shots of my family wearing two different outfit combinations (casual and formal). We had individual shots of each of us (my husband, me, and our three daughters), plus every possible family combination. I will treasure these forever. With the enhanced session, your photos are retouched and you can choose whether you want prints, digital versions, other products, or all of the above. I chose to receive my photos on a CD, which took about a month. It was torture waiting, but was well worth it in the end.
Most of the portrait sessions take place at the resorts. However, there is an option to have your portraits taken at Epcot before the park opens to the general public. I have only ever seen park photos at Epcot and only in the World Showcase countries. If you go to the Fine Art Photography website, you can see some examples of this. Click the link above, then click "Galleries", then "Family Portraits," then "Enhanced Photo Session." You'll see several of the groups with World Showcase buildings in the background.
