Welcome aboard, Jennifer! It's wonderful to hear that you are planning to set sail with Disney Cruise Line soon! I see you're from Ohio like me. As we suffer through in this chilly Ohio weather, we can dream of a warm Disney Cruise vacation!
Disney Cruise Line offers parking at all of the home ports from which it sails, including New York. Details about
parking at the ports is available on Disney Cruise Line's website, including costs and addresses. Currently, the parking at the Manhattan port terminal is $40 per night while you're on the cruise. I have to say that it is super convenient to park right at the cruise terminal because when you arrive back home from your magical cruise, all you need to do is collect your luggage, go through customs, and walk to your car. It doesn't get easier than that! Of course, you'll then have a drive back to Ohio, but you'll have so many memories from the cruise to relive, you can chat about your favorites the whole way home!
You might want to look into some of the hotels near the cruise port that offer parking while you cruise. I know that in the past, the Hampton Inn, Wyndham New York Cruiseport, Crowne Plaza Newark, and Country Inn and Suites NY Cruiseport have offered up to seven or more days of free parking if you stay there before you sail. Disney Cruise Line also partners with two resorts in New York to offer pre- and post-cruise stays and optional ground transfers too! Check out the
Ground Transfers and Hotel information page for more details on these package add-on's and contact Disney Cruise Line to add them to your reservation.
I hope those details help as you get ready for your cruise. Please feel free to stop back with any other questions you might have before you set sail, Jennifer! We're happy to help!
