Planning on doing character dining. I have a 2/12 year old. Must I pay for her a meal?

    Hello Bernice!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Let me be the first to thank you for stopping by our site to ask an amazing Walt Disney World vacation planning question.  It's my pleasure to help you out today.

Character Dining at Walt Disney World is a must-do for anyone no matter how young or young at heart you are.  I always recommend it to anyone who visits.   It's a great way to interact with some beloved characters without having to wait in lines for feel rushed.   I have some wonderful news for you,  you will not have to pay for a meal for your little one at a Character Dining location, or any sit-down location.   Children under the age of 3 are considered Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not have to pay for park tickets or the Disney Dining Plan.   Your little one is more than welcome to share off an adult plate at no charge.

I hope this has helped to answer your question.  If you have any other questions about traveling with little ones or any other aspect of your trip, please let us know.  We love to lend a helping hand every chance we can.
