Hi Sara,
Thank you for taking the time to write us a question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt made his park for kids of all ages. I'm happy to hEAR you will be celebrating such joyous news at The Happiest Place on Earth.
I think the best way to start your Girl's Trip would be with a Dole Whip float from the Tiki Juice Bar; we like to order ours from inside the queue area of the Enchanted Tiki Room. This way y'all can enjoy the seating and all the carved totem poles while you enjoy the classic Dole Whip float, then you're all set for the Enchanted Tiki Room. But don't forget a churro for your friend, Disneyland Park is known for their scrumptious churros! It's important to drink lots of water and have snacks often.
I'd take her over to Jungle Cruise - the skippers are full of belly laughs. Disney Parks are "Wild About Safety" so I recommend you look at the
Thrill Level when selecting which attractions to ride.
Be sure to utilize the Disneyland Railroad while in Disneyland Park, this is a great way to get around the park, yet ride on a 1955 Original Ride. There are 4 stations to board, with picturesque scenery throughout the tour.
It would also be fun to all pitch in and surprise the Mama-to-be with a pair of infant MouseEARs from the Mad Hatter. Or if she doesn't know if she is having a boy or girl yet, buy a blue and pink Mickey-shaped balloon. Then take her and her new EARs or balloons to Sleeping Beauty Castle, have a Disney PhotoPass Photographer take a picture of her posing with the EARs (in front of her belly) or the balloons with the Castle. Then head to Main Street Photo Supply and purchase this keepsake.
I'm limited on space, I hope this is helpful. If you have any more questions please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie dusted vacation.
chEARs!
~ Lynette
