    I am planning my Disney World vacation for Dec. 2009. Would it be better to book it now or wait a month or two to see if a better deal becomes available? The dates would be 12/10 - 12/16 and most likely staying at one of the Disney value resorts

    Hi Kathy. Thanks for the great question. Since you know your dates, and have narrowed your hotel choice, I highly recommend that you go ahead and book your resort now. Your reservationist will advise you of the cancellation policy, so if anything changes, you should be fine as long as you cancel with enough notice. And then I would check the Walt Disney World website regularly (daily!) for any specials. There have been many awesome deals lately, such as the Buy Four, Get Three Free deal, and free dining, which has recently been extended for stays until October 3, 2009. The Moms Panel doesn't get any advance notice on specials, but given recent great deals, I'm hopeful and encouraged that something will come up for your dates. As soon as you spot a special, call (407) 939-7603, give them your reservation number, and they will update your reservation to include the special offer if it's available.
