Hello. I am planning a Disney World vacartion with my nephews in FEB 2026. Can I get 2 connecting rooms in my name? Otherwise, my sister is considering coming along but she is not sure yet.

Hi David, and welcome to planDisney! I love spending quality time with my nephew at Disney World, and we’ve made so many core memories there together. So I would be happy to help plan your magical vacation next year!

Many Disney resort hotels have connecting rooms, but they aren’t guaranteed. So if you're looking for more space, you’ll need to book accommodations with more than one room. I love the Family Suites at Art of Animation Resort because they have two bathrooms, a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a living room with a double-sized Murphy bed and double-sized sofa bed, and a kitchenette. Even better, the suites are themed after Cars, The Lion King, and Finding Nemo! And EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are just a Skyliner ride away, which always makes my nephew think we’ve been on a fun attraction before we even get to the theme parks! You can also find Family Suites at All-Star Music Resort, which is usually a little more affordable compared to Art of Animation Resort.

Another option would be to look at the Deluxe Villa Resorts, which have 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom Villas. My family loves these accommodations because there’s a full kitchen in addition to a washer and dryer, which is a lifesaver when my nephew is with us. We also love the living room area for hanging out away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. One of our favorites is Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, where you can see zebras right from your balcony in the Savanna View rooms!

If your sister decides to come, and you’d like to stick to two standard hotel rooms, you can add a request for nearby or connecting rooms by calling the Tickets and Hotel Reservations phone number. Or, during checkout on the Disney World website, you’ll see a “Room & Amenities Requests” section where you can note your interest in a nearby or connecting room, and add the name of the lead guest on the other room. While requests aren’t guaranteed, Cast Members will do their best to grant your wish!

Regardless of which room type you go with, be sure to check out the Special Offers page for any discounts that might apply to your stay. After all, every dollar saved means more money for all the Mickey-shaped snacks!

I'm wishing you the most magical vacation with your nephews next year! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
