Smile, Sarah, for the PhotoPass photographers! One of my absolute favorite parts of having
Memory Maker is all of the awesome pictures my family takes and that we ALL get to be in!
Once you have purchased Memory Maker on your Walt Disney World vacation package, it is valid for the entire length of your stay, at any of the PhotoPass locations. Since it sounds like maybe you are purchasing tickets and Memory Maker, it would be valid for 30 days from your first photo. Be sure to purchase at least three days in advance of your trip in order to save $30!
In each theme park, be sure to stop by one of the first PhotoPass Photographers that you see, so that you can get the iconic photos in front of Cinderella Castle, the Tree of Life, and Spaceship Earth! Also, always ask the photographers if they have any “magic shots.” You might be surprised with what winds up in your photos later!
Recently, I was surprised with the adorable Orange Bird on my finger from a photo that I took in front of the Adventureland sign in Magic Kingdom!
Did you know that there are thirteen theme park attractions that have
PhotoPass Photos inside the ride? My favorite is definitely the one inside Haunted Mansion! Spoiler alert: the photo is taken right at the beginning of the attraction, when you are riding your Doom Buggy past the hall of portraits. Smile, look scared, or look UP before you get to the Medusa portrait!
Another of my favorite photos is taken in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. When you are approaching the Millennium Falcon, go up the stairs to your left, and look for the PhotoPass Photographer. They will usually have a “magic shot”, plus they will have you turn around for a camera that is off in the distance. And, while you are there, don’t forget to ride
Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run!
I hope this helps with your Walt Disney World vacation planning. Please come back to planDisney with other questions that you might have!
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
