We are planning a disney vacation in the summer of 2009.We want to stay in one of the grand villas for 2 weeks. Will we be able to do so,or do we have to change villas after a week?

There are definitely people who stay in WDW rooms for two weeks at a time. (I even met some folks who home school their kids and live at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds for three or four months at a time.) Your issue is not going to be whether you could do this theoretically, but whether there would be availability. While there are thousands of standard one and two bedroom villas, there are fewer than 100 of the three bedroom grand villas in all of WDW. These are very popular accommodations and they sell out quickly. Even a year in advance, I'd be surprised if you would find two continuous weeks of booking available at any grand villa. To find out, you should call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY as soon as possible. They are reserving rooms for summer 2009 via phone now.

    Good luck!
