Hello! We are planning our Disney vacation in March, and staying at All-Star Music. If we make a breakfast reservation for Cape May Cafe, what would be the best way to get there from our resort? Thank you!

Hi Lori! I am so glad to see a fellow Tennessean headed down to visit Walt Disney World.

Cape May Cafe is such a wonderful breakfast experience. Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast is delicious and the character interactions are so much fun. Character breakfasts are my favorite way to start the day. Make sure to have your camera out for tons of pictures!

Transportation can feel like a lot to manage at Disney World but luckily the My Disney Experience app has a feature that allows you to get directions to anywhere within the Disney ecosystem. All Star Music features bus transportation. Busses only run from the hotels to the theme park entrances. You can take the bus from All Star Music to the Epcot entrance and then walk to the Yacht Club Resort where Cape May Cafe is located. The walk is about a mile and takes around 20-30 minutes. Disney always recommends giving yourself 1.5 hours to make it to a reservation because travel time can be a lot when managing multiple different methods of transportation. Here is a handy guide to Disney World Transportation that you will find useful during your visit.

All of that being said, I am not a morning person and adding on an extra 1.5 for transportation to breakfast can sometimes feel like a lot. I prefer to take an Uber, Lyft, or Minnie Van directly from my resort to breakfast and then utilize the bus system for the rest of the day. They are normally fairly inexpensive when it is not peak travel time and give you more time to get ready in the morning.

    Happy Planning
