We are planning a Disney vacation in July/August 2020. I will have a 2 year old & 1 year old. My 2 year old is a really good eater and is not a big fan of sharing, she likes her own meals. Is there a way to purchase a dining plan for my 2 year old?

Hi Ashley! Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I, too, have had a toddler with a teenage sized appetite, so I completely understand how much they can eat!

Ashley, I am sorry to tell you that you are not able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan for your 2 year old. But did you know that children under 3 eat for free at buffets and family-style meals? For this reason, when I am traveling with the under 3 crowd, I book most of our sit down meals as buffets. Not only is it a great value, but as so many buffets are character meals, my little ones got to share a meal with some of their favorite people! At that age, my son's absolute favorite meals were the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at O'hana and Chef Mickey's! Ashley, when dining at a table service restaurant that is not a buffet or at a quick-service restaurant, you are always welcome to pay out of pocket for a kid's meal.

I hope that this has helped Ashley, and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help you plan your fantastic family getaway!
