Hi, Brianna!
It sounds like you are gEARing up for a magical vacation real soon! The holiday season is one of my most favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort because there's nothing quite like seeing the spectacular decor, interacting with the jolly Disney Cast Members and being able to experience all the merry festivities. I'm sure you can't wait!
As you count down to your arrival, you are smart to familiarize yourself with what's not allowed in the parks so you can breeze right through bag check and security. There is a
Prohibited Item List on the Walt Disney World Resort website that I would review over in the coming days. Backpacks are allowed, and I always carry one in the parks to keep items like ponchos, portable cell phone batteries, bottled water and a few snacks. They are not prohibited from attractions, as there are spots to store them. Because of this, they do need to be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.
Brianna, thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's our pleasure to assist you with your plans, and we hope to hEAR from you again soon.
Nancy
