Planning our 3rd Disney trip for 2 weeks July 2016. Twin boys will be 13 and we have stayed at BC and BC Villas. Recommendations on Value or Moderate resorts? Alternating park and pool days so want a place relaxing but fun pool for boys.

Hi, Jennifer!  If you're looking for some peace and quite, relaxation, and a bit of pool fun, I would definitely recommend Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  This moderate resort always feels a bit more deluxe to me, as the rooms are very nicely appointed, and there are even club level rooms that afford you deluxe amenities such as turn down service, personalized front desk services, and a club lounge which will offer daily continental breakfast and midday snacks.

There are four pools at Coronado Springs, but the main pool, known as the Dig Site, has a 123 foot water slide, a splash area for younger children, and is located near the arcade and playground.  The other pools are quieter, but that can be a nice change of pace on a busy vacation.

As far as value resorts go, I have a soft spot for Pop Century. I think the food court at the Art of Animation resort is much better, but I think Pop Century is easy to get around, and there's a nice path to stroll around or jog around in the evenings or early mornings.  Art of Animation is decorated a bit more vibrantly, but I think the pools rate about the same in my book.  You can't go wrong either way, but I just love Pop Century.

Another moderate to consider is Port Orleans - either French Quarter or Riverside.  Unlike Coronado Springs, these resorts are compact and much easier to walk around.  The pool area is fun, and bonus - beignets are available at the food court for breakfast!

Have a wonderful time on your upcoming trip!
