We are planning our 2nd Disney trip and we are really wanting to stay in a bungalow at the Polynesian. Are we able to book one without being in DVC? We are planning on being there October 30, 2020 - November 6, 2020.

Hi there, Heather! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort holds a very special place in my heart! My family and I have a tradition of eating breakfast at Kona Cafe on the morning of our arrival during each vacation we take to Walt Disney World Resort. There's just something so relaxing and equally exciting about enjoying our meal and watching the Monorail race by!

This Disney Resort hotel is also conveniently located right across from the Magic Kingdom! Guests are able to take the Resort Monorail or Water Transportation over to Magic Kingdom and arrive in no time at all. If you find some time for relaxing, I would also suggest taking advantage of the proximity to Magic Kingdom and enjoy some time gazing at Cinderella's Castle from the beach!

You will be happy to hear that Guests do not need to be Disney Vacation Club members in order to reserve a Bungalow! Reservations for these specific lodging options will need to made through Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, though, which houses all of the Disney Vacation Club specific rooms. I would suggest making your reservation as soon as available since the Bungalows are incredibly popular!

Have fun continuing to plan for your 2020 vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
