Hello, I am planning a disney trip in March and we are staying at Pop Century. Can you tell me if it is cheaper to eat at resort or should we buy the meal plan? It will be my husband, myself, 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter. Thanks

    Julie,

You can use the meal plans at the Pop Century resort's restaurant, as well as at the parks and other resort hotels. They are very flexible, so you should strongly consider them. They are also, in most cases, great money savers. I have never used one where I did not find myself saving at least 20% on what I would have spent otherwise.

First go look at the different plans. These PDFs show the participating restaurants, as well as provide info on how it works and what you get out of them. I find that the standard plan works best for my family, thought you might consider the Quick Service plan to keep your budget down.

Another way to save money, whether on a plans or not, is to ship ahead snacks and other shippable foods and have some meals in your room. Breakfast is the easiest, but you can pull off more if you plan ahead!

I am glad to answer any follow-up questions about these plans that you may have. Just go to my bio page and ask there.

Have a Magical (and delicious) vacation!
